Jet Center Appeal

There is reason to believe that:
  • On November 17th 2010, Mr Venuti  did not disclose to the City that,  a week prior to signing his new FBO lease, he petitioned the Utah  bankruptcy court to  convert his Chapter 11 bankruptcy to a Chapter 7
  • The Chapter 7 filing places the Jet Center lease in jeopardy
  • Mr Venuti’s 50% interest in the Jet Center lease is now being sold by the bankruptcy court. (Trustee Kenneth Rushton 801-768-8416)
  • The new lease with the City is only signed by Mr Venuti and not by the other 50% partner his wife.
  • He has been making certain representations to the City regarding his financial ability to sign a 40 year million dollar FBO lease at the new airport
  • Since signing the new lease with the City, at least one attempt has been made to  sell his business and forbear his contract with the City.
  • Owes millions of dollars to people and businesses in our community.
  • The City Council was not informed of these details when asked to approve the Jet Center lease.
  • The City has a fiduciary responsibility to protect the public interest and not enable or prop up the appearance of all is well with the Jet Center FBO lease.
  • The Jet Center response to the 2009 FBO RFP financial disclosure section was either ignored or did not provide full disclosure of judgments and bankruptcy of the Teton Airpark.
  • If these facts were disclosed in full, then the City has failed to protect the interests of the public.
  • Jeremy Johnson, has been served with an 80 page, $500 million charge of fraud by the FTC. Mr Johnson may own a portion of the Jet Center building and or business. He has multiple planes and helicopters housed at the Jet Center facility.

Here is the City attorney Mr Cuzman’s response to the appeal.

He only takes issue with my right to file an appeal. Fails to address any of the issues above, not one. What are we supposed to infer from this very skinny response.

Reminds me of the story of the ambulance company that would not take a man to the hospital because he lived just outside of their service area. He died while waiting for another ambulance.
